The league needs super stars to drive the sport, especially Social Media savvy super stars. The nightmare that is Ron Beckman - Sacktacular! (27:11) The Importance of attitude in team building - players that have it and players that don't. Ryan Van Bibber ranks the Redskins Defensive line 32nd overall in the league. Really? FAIL. Laying the lumber on the Colts for refusing to operate under the new relaxed black out policy. The transition from a perennial playoff contender to a marginal team. Playoffs! Jim Mora Soundbites - the best part of his coaching career. Bye Bye BCS, Hello D-1 College Football Playoffs! Adding legitimacy to D1 College Football - better for the sport, better for the fans - settle it on the field! Corruption in Bowl Leadership and Bowl Committees - will this pose a risk for the new D1 Playoff set up? Four teams is a great start, but no more than eight. Let's avoid the NCAA March Madness Tournament bracket creep... Props to the SEC, but the Sports Brew would like to see more creative offense. The BCS comes to the End of the Road (and Shannon gets cut off). More End of the Road - Erin Andrews and Michelle Beadle leave ESPN. The Attack of the Gillians. LT Retires - the Ring versus Hall debate. Shannon goes to Band Camp. Yes, Band Camp. Contrasting LeBron and LT - both Hall of Famers, but only one champion. Rings and things - some of the greats that didn't win a championship. Is LT just a little bitter? Would you rather get there and lose or not get there at all? Remembering the Buffalo Bills four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. A little Fantasy Football love for LT over the years. Other backs that redefined the position as the league transitioned to pass heavy offenses. Eli and Peyton - running smack and dunking the double stuffs. Eli has earned more credit that he gets from the sports media. Chasing rings... climbing to the mountain top. 7-1-2012 Part II. Learning from your mistakes and let downs - developing the heart of a champion! PacMan gets jealous of Mike Miller and LeBron James rocks the Eye of the Tiger. Would LeBron be a bigger star/icon if he had delivered a Championship in Cleveland? When was the last time Cleveland won a championship in anything (and we don't mean Major League). The sports media machine, Jordan's killer instinct and the inevitable LeBron comparisons... can we let the man savor his first championship? Juwan "Fab Fiving" Howard certainly will. Jordan's sheer will to win - one of the definitions of sports greatness. The Kentucky Wildcats dominate the NBA Draft plus speculating about the future of Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Take the money and run - the Greg Oden legacy. Jim Sorgi love triangles, Sports Brew fails, and fun with Billy Madison sound bites. 7-1-2012, Part 1. Mp3 format. This is how we Brew it! (21:17 ) The from crappy to happy or from fail to hail debate. The Redskins bring training camp to Richmond in 2013. Possibly rehabbing Richmond's City Stadium. Will this benefit the VCU Rams?
